For the second year in a row, the Dive In Community Cup saw reigning champs Beazley take home the trophy, having beaten the East End Ambulance club in a tense final.
The five-a-side football cup, sponsored by the global insurance broker, risk management services provider and consulting firm Gallagher, saw 16 mixed teams compete in the annual five-a-side football – cheered on by a supportive crowd of spectators atop a high-rise carpark in Poplar.
The cup was co-hosted by co-hosted by Power league Docklands and the East End Phoenix Football Club, the Hackney based club focused on offering inclusive football opportunities for the LGBT and LGBT friendly community. The club aims to promote a positive, inclusive image and reputation for community football, its participants and supporters.
